Jean-Paul Fortin Continues Expansion Search in Greater Toronto Area and Major Markets

Jean-Paul Fortin is a chain of better-quality high-end footwear and accessory brands for men and women. In mid-September 2020, the second Jean-Paul Fortin in Ontario opened in a 2000 square foot location in Toronto’s Bayview Village neighbourhood. In addition to two high profile Toronto locations, the 56-year old chain operates seven stores in the Quebec City and greater Montreal area. The chain continues to explore opportunities in larger malls and high street locations in the greater Toronto area and major Canadian markets. The target size is in the 1,300 – 1,800 square foot range. In addition to the Jean-Paul Fortin stores, the company also operates eleven Clarks shoe stores in Quebec and Ontario and two men’s and women’s Les Pieds sur Terre comfort footwear stores in Quebec City along with an online retail component. Aurora’s Jeffrey Berkowitz is handling the company’s site selection.
